Bloodhound

Bloodhounds are renowned for their extraordinary sense of smell and tracking ability, often used by law enforcement to track missing persons. They are large, powerful dogs with loose, wrinkly skin and long ears. Bloodhounds are affectionate and gentle with their families, making them excellent companions. They require regular exercise to satisfy their tracking instincts and maintain health. Their coat is short but requires regular grooming to keep clean, especially the folds of their skin. Bloodhounds are generally healthy but can be prone to bloat, ear infections, and hip dysplasia. Socialization and training from a young age are important.
